Sarge is a german shepherd mix who is estimated to be around a year old. Sarge found himself at the Louisville shelter when his owner moved leaving him and his brother on a 3 foot tie in the backyard. According to neighbors the dogs had been kept on the short line the whole time they lived there without much human interaction. Sarge is a sweet boy but a bit reserved. He took a minute to warm up and then wanted to play. He was very talkative during pictures wanting to get attention. He was more outgoing around the other dogs but still unsure of people. As of right now he has not been around cats or children but is a good dog with room to grow. Sarge is looking for a home with the patience to show him how to be a trusting member of the family and help him blossom into the wonderful companion he can be.
