Harry is a beautiful black Shepherd estimated around 4 - 5 years young. Harry was a stray so we do not know his history prior to arriving at the shelter.

Harry has a fun, outgoing personality and can be a bit of a social butterfly. He is quick to make friends and values himself as the life of the party. A favorite at the shelter Harry quickly became a volunteer favorite at Tier Haven for his fun and exuberant personality. Harry LOVES to play with toys and sticks and is a big fan of multi toy fetch as "out" is not a concept he supports. Harry is a very toy driven dog and is eager to please whomever is going to provide that toy. Harry is great meeting new people, especially if they happen to have a toy, and tends to take up with new people pretty quick. He is very clear in his communication and isn't above tugging on a sleeve if he wants to play. Harry's favorite game is chasing water which makes bath time a bit of a challenge but certainly doable as chasing the blow dryer is slightly less fun. Harry has been around children over 7 years with no concerns but has not met any younger children at this time. 

Harry is fostered with other Shepherds and does well with other dogs. He is a bit aloof caring more for people and toys than he does for other dogs but he doesn't mind them. Sometimes a younger dog can cajole him into playing if they ask nicely but this is very rare. He seems to enjoy the company of other independent dogs and navigates the play yards well. Harry mostly ignores other dogs when in public and does well ignoring inappropriate dogs. He has not been introduced to any smaller dogs or cats at this time.

Harry is looking for a moderately active home that recognizes age is just a number and puppyhood is forever. He has lots of love to give those around him and is looking forward to finding a home of his own.
