Terrance is a handsome young guy estimated around 5-6 months of age and believed to be a German Shepherd X Beligian Malinois mix. Terrance was dumped in a rural county where he was then picked up as a stray. We do not know his history prior to the shelter picking him up nor do we have any clue to his true breed combination.
Terrance is a friendly, cuddly, and playful young guy who is still coming into his own. He enjoys everyone he has met and is learning how to be more social in public settings. He is coming around to the concept of leashes and collars but prefers to just romp in the yard if he has a say about things. He does currently spend time with an 8 year old child who doesn't mind being jumped on by puppies and he behaves as a typical young pup would. We do not generally recommend adopting a puppy if you have children under 5 years old; however, we are willing to discuss this individually.
Terrance currently lives with other puppies and adult Shepherds that are helping him learn social manners. He leans towards the submissive side in the play yard but does enjoy a good chase game or time chewing on another pups legs. He is very quick to learn and respect other dogs boundaries. He is an active guy though and would do best with other active dogs. Terrance has not been introduced to any cats or dogs under 15 lbs.
Terrance is searching for a loving and patient home that will walk with him from puppyhood to golden years. If you're the lifelong family for Terrance email tierhavenrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application or visit adoptapet.com/tierhaven for FAQs
