Angie is a beautiful young girl believed to be around 7 months of age (June, 2019 DOB) and a German Shepherd X Beligian Malinois mix. Angie was dumped in a rural county where she was then picked up as a stray. We do not know her history prior to the shelter picking her up nor do we have any clue to her true breed combination.
Angie is a fun, friendly, and active young girl. She enjoys meeting new people at her foster home and is learning to be more confident in new locations. Angie is a bouncy girl who is learning not to jump but really values herself a lap dog anyways. Angie is a very playful and constantly on the go sort of girl who enjoys romping in the yard and going on hikes in the woods. She does currently spend time with an 8 year old child who doesn't mind being jumped on by puppies and does as well as any puppy would. We do not generally recommend adopting a puppy if you have children under 5 years old; however, we are willing to discuss this individually if you believe you have the right set up to make this work.
Angie is currently fostered with other puppies and adult German Shepherds who are helping teach her social manners. She is a very active and playful girl who has learned to navigate many other dog personalities. She has no concept of being the small dog of the group and happily plays with the big dogs the same as the smaller. She is a very drivey and gamey personality who is going to excel with a job and structured play. Angie has been around cats in her foster home that are indifferent about dogs and had no issues with them. She has also visited another home with one cat that is more active that Angie was more curious about but ultimately did not pester.
Angie is searching for an active home that will include her in the adventures for the next 12 beautiful years. If you're the home for Angie please email tierhavenrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application or visit adoptapet.com/tierhaven for FAQs
