Rayna is a beautiful young Shepherd estimated around 2 years ago who was picked up as a stray. It is suspected she was dumped in the area as no one had seen her around before and unfortunately she was very scared. Rayna is learning how to trust and is opening up to people beautifully. She is a very fun, active, and goofy girl with those she knows but doesn't know how to be herself around new people. She withdraws and is shy in social settings preferring to keep to those she knows. She is also very much not a fan of having her neck handled and will politely make that clear to new people. She requires a slow introduction and relationships build on trust and patience. She enjoys cuddling with those she trust and is a very affectionate girl overall. She also have a smart, mischievous streak that makes for some good laughs. She is a loyal and sweet girl who simply needs more socialization in a safe, patient environment. Rayna is around other Shepherd and Shepherd mixes in her foster home and always does well. She doesn't seem to understand play time much but isn't bothered by the other dogs. She will likely warm up to playing once she is settled into a home situation. She has NOT been tested with cats or small dogs at this time. Rayna is an active young Shepherd that is searching for a home that will give her the socialization, love, and kindness she is seeking.
