Medusa is a striking young Shepherd estimated around 2 - 3 years of age. Medusa was a stray therefore we do not know her history however given the state of her body we suspect that she has been breed recently and likely repeatedly. Medusa can be a bit aloof with new people and isn't sure who she should trust. She has warmed up quickly to her foster family and is doing a good job warming up to visitors and volunteers. Medusa doesn't seem to have many kind experiences with people and the world. She is definitely going to need some socialization and guidance as she learns to trust but she is giving it her all. She is a very sweet soul and enjoys giving kisses to those she knows. Medusa has not yet been introduced to any children and we do not know how she would interact in a home with children. Medusa is around other Shepherds on a regular basis and isn't sure what to do with them. She leans to the submissive side of the scale and likes to stay unnoticed in her play groups at this point. She has a good understanding of social dynamics and is able to navigate the other dogs well to achieve this. She hasn't figured out that she doesn't need to avoid them though or what playing is. She also doesn't seem to have any concept of toys. At this time Medusa has NOT been tested with cats or small dogs. Medusa is a sweet soul that is searching for a kind, loving, and loyal family that will show her the joys of being part of the family.
