Iroh is a beautiful big sable Shepherd estimated around 5 years of age. We do not know Iroh's history prior to his arrival at the shelter. Iroh can be an intimidating dog to meet if you don't know him but behind those sleek looks he is an oversized teddy bear. Iroh is an emotional boy who seems very upset to be uprooted and is a quick bonding sort of boy. He enjoys being with his foster family as much as possible and is happy to follow them everywhere. The only excepting being the time he ran from a horse fly that was clearly trying to eat him. Iroh enjoys brushings, cuddles, and all the loves. He has had no issue meeting new volunteers and allowing new people to handle him but isn't as goofy and open with new people as he is those he knows. Iroh has not been introduced to any children at this time but would likely be fine with children 10 + years of age that understand how to respect a dogs boundaries and the value of a good introduction. Iroh does wonderful with the other Shepherds in his foster home and is definitely not the top of the pecking order. He likes to keep a low profile and hope that the no one realizes he is a big baby. He hasn't really figured out how to play with the other dogs and definitely prefers to keep human company. Iroh has NOT been introduced to any dogs under 40 lbs or cats. Iroh is a sweet soul that is looking for a soft place to land that will value his Shepherd characteristics and give him the exercise, guidance, and love all Shepherds thrive on.
