Jetta is a beautiful 4 year old black German Shepherd female. Jetta was a stray in rural Kentucky and unfortunately no one came to claim her. Jetta has been an exuberant and excitable girl with everyone she has met. She can be a high strung girl and easily gets overly friendly when meeting new people. Jetta is an absolute sweet heart with her foster family and a typical shadow shepherd wanting to always be right with her people. Jetta has been introduced to children 5 and up with no concerns. Jetta is a talker and likes to vocalize anything she is feeling. She is especially chatty during bath time but is well behaved for bathing, brushing, and blow drying. Jetta is fostered with other German Shepherds and is generally aloof with the other dogs. She meets well but doesn't have much interest in playing or otherwise engaging. Jetta has not been tested with cats or small dogs. Jetta is a sweet girl who seems to be a bit rough around the edges - no concept of a leash or personal space - but has lots of love to give. She is searching for a home that will value her for her loyalty and help her figure out what life is about.
