Willow is a beautiful young Malinois Shepherd mix who is estimated around 15 months of age. Willow was originally with Tier Haven in Spring 2019 and spent the last few months in an adoptive home but was returned because she "didn't fit their lifestyle". Willow has a bouncy and friendly personality with those she knows; however, it is clear she hasn't received adequate socialization the last few months. She can be weary meeting new people and takes a couple minutes to warm up. She is easily won over with treats, butt scratches, and a walk. Willow is a loyal and loving girl who enjoys being part of whatever her family is up to - walks, hikes, hanging out in the yard, or cuddling on the couch. Willow is an energetic and active girl like most young Malinois and requires a dedication to daily exercise. Willow has been around children 5 years and up with no concerns. Willow is a social butterfly in play groups and thrives amongst other dogs. Willow meets new dogs well and enjoys making friends in new play groups in her foster home. Willow has not been around any dogs under 25 lbs but she has lived with a cat. To our knowledge Willow had no issues coexisting with the cat in her last home however we always recommend having a plan for introductions and transitions. Willow is a happy, loving, and loyal young girl who is searching for a family that is committed to her needs as a young Malinois for socialization, exercise, and fun.
