Charlie is an adorable spit-fire of a puppy who is now around 14 weeks of age. Charlie is part of a litter that was found abandoned during a winter storm and has been living the high life in his foster home while getting ready for adoption. Charlie's mother is a Belgian Malinois however dad is unknown. Charlie's photos are a bit outdated and we are working to get them updated - active puppies don't photograph easily.
Charlie is a typical Malinois puppy with lots of energy, kisses, and nips to go around. Charlie is coming along wonderfully in his socialization and has been able to interact with multiple other dogs including his litter mates to help him develop a good understanding of doggy etiquette. Charlie has also met lots of people inside his foster home and is always a friendly young lad. He enjoys playing in the garden, romping in the yard, and getting into things he ought not. Charlie has not started socializing in public due to giving his vaccines plenty of time prior to exposing him to too much; however, he has been to the vet clinic where he made plenty of friends and barked up a storm. He can be a vocal guy and will let you know exactly what is on his mind but will also sleep through the night which is wonderful. Charlie has seen a cat from afar (the cat will not hazard coming down from her perch when the puppies are loose) and is interested but not as much as his litter mates. He would likely try to play with a cat at this point but with some guidance should have no problem living with a cat.
Charlie is not a high drive puppy but he is still a Malinois regardless. While he is unlikely to become a working dog he is going to require a home that understands the traits, and needs, of this breed and is able to dedicate time to his training and exercise needs throughout his life. Charlie's mother is a very intense Malinois and Charlie is a very brave young pup but without the proper guidance he could easily turn into a reactive or aggressive young dog. Please research the breed prior to inquiring.
