Bailey is an adorable young girl estimated around 1 year of age. Bailey was originally adopted from a county shelter as a puppy and unfortunately returned after she barked at a visitor over food. Bailey is a little withdrawn right now but is slowly coming out of her shell. Bailey was closely bonded with a teenager in her previous home and is unsure what to do with new people right now. She avoids interaction but given a chance to warm up Bailey seems to be a sweet girl. Like all Shepherds and Malinois Bailey has a protective side and is a close bonding girl. Bailey has not been around children in her foster home and at this time we would not recommend her for a home with children under 10 years of age. Bailey isn't completely sure what to do with the other dogs but is learning how to play and seem to have a good understanding of how to navigate a play group. She is an athletic girl and is going to need plenty of socialization and exercise in her next home. Bailey has not been tested with small dogs or cats at this time. Bailey is searching for a family that has an understanding of her breed characteristics and is able to provide her the guidance she needs to grow into a wonderful companion. Bailey will require dedication to socialization, training, and exercise in her new home.
