Kilah is a beautiful female Shepherd around 5 years of age whose life was recently upended. Kilah was surrendered to the shelter after her life-long owner passed away unexpectedly. Kilah is still trying to figure out her new life and can be a bit shy when first meeting new people. Given a couple minutes, some treats, and maybe a short walk and Kilah is your best friend. Once she realizes that you're okay she is a total love-bug of a Shepherd. She is a close-bonding girl and is looking for 'her person' which is typical for Shepherds to go through after losing an owner. Kilah has limited experience with children but has had some limited interactions where she has done well. We are told that Kilah enjoyed playing Frisbee and hope that once she settles into a new home she will return to her playful self. Kilah has lived with other dogs most of her life and meets new dogs easily. She has good social manners and is coming out of her shell starting to play with the other dogs in her foster home. We are told that Kilah was around cats in her previous home but have not cat tested her to confirm this, yet.
