Nala is a beautiful female Shepherd under a year of age. Nala was surrendered to a shelter due to the other dog in the home not getting along with her and it was represented that Nala has had 3 homes in her short life. Nala is typical energetic and active young Shepherd. She has been an absolute sweetheart with everyone she has met including the vet techs when getting her wellness check. She enjoys being part of the activity and being right in the middle of everything. Nala has been around a 7 year old and done well but is a young, hyper Shepherd with no formal training. We would not recommend her for a home with young children or children who are not accustomed to energetic dogs. Nala is learning how to play with friendly dogs but due to her experience being picked on in her last home she can be scared of other dogs and defensive. She is with other dogs in her foster home and has been able to learn how to play with some of the more gentle dogs. Nala may require a slow introduction to current dogs in order to establish trust and boundaries. Nala has been introduced to cats and wanted to bark and chase therefore we wouldn't recommend her to a household with cats or small dogs at this time. Nala is searching for an active family that will involve her in all of the adventures and provide her with the guidance and training she needs to be the best she can be.
