Emma is a beautiful young girl estimated between 1 - 2 years of age. Emma was a stray in a rural community and was scheduled for euthanasia due to be extremely timid and fearful. We do not know her history but it is clear that she didn't have much experience trusting new people. Emma has been given time to settle into her foster home and let her true nature as a diva show and is a total sweet heart. She loves to cuddle on the couch, lay in the kitchen, and escape her crate whenever possible. Emma has learned how to be more social with new people although she can still be timid in new situations. She does well when people come into the house but if she is in public she isn't wholly confident. Emma has been around dog savvy children and always been very gentle and kind. She has a lot of love to give and enjoys being around kind people. Emma has become very playful with the other dogs and is quite the queen of the play yard. She enjoys romping and wrestling with her foster siblings and does fine when meeting new dogs. Emma has been around dogs as small as 20 lbs and did really good. Emma did spend time with a cat without issue but has started displaying some chasing behaviors. We would like to have her tested with cats again before we would place her in a home with cats. Emma is simply a sweetheart that is searching for a home that will give her patience, guidance, and love as she learns how to be a wonderful family companion.
