Ragnar is a stunning and regal male Shepherd estimated around 2 years of age. Ragnar was a stray therefore we do not know anything about his history. Ragnar has been a friendly and sweet boy with shelter staff and rescue volunteers. He greets everyone with excitement and is a social guy with new people. He seems to have a very minimal understanding of basic manners - he doesn't general jump, sits about a fraction of the time, and hasn't been very vocal - but is eager to please and quick to learn. He is going to thrive in a home that is committed to positive reinforcement and guiding him to be the best he can be. Ragnar has been a perfect gentleman with the dogs in his foster home who have all been over medium to large Shepherds and Shepherd mixes. He meets well and respects boundaries the other dogs set for him. He is starting to show a fondness for roughhousing that may leaving your house looking like a china shop after a visit by a bull. He has NOT been tested with small dogs or cats at this time. Ragnar is searching for an active home that will take him on plenty of adventures and guide him in learning to be an outstanding canine citizen.
