Simba is a handsome young Shepherd estimated around 1 year of age. Simba was seized by animal control after his owner was arrested and we unfortunately do not know much of his history. Simba has shown himself to be a very friendly and outgoing boy with both shelter staff and now our rescue volunteers. He has been through pet stores where he greets everyone with excitement and does well letting kiddos pet him. He has a very fun and bouncy personality with lots of love to give. Simba doesn't seem to know much in the way of basic manners therefore it will up to his adopters to establish a relationship and develop his manners. Simba is a quick learner and has adapted to the routine of his foster home very well. He is eager to please his people and will do wonderful with positive reinforcement training. Simba has been well mannered with the other Shepherds and Shepherd mixes in his foster home. He seems to have a good understanding of social cues and navigates play groups well - respecting the boundaries of the less playful dogs and having fun playing with those that want to. Simba has NOT been introduced to small dogs or cats. Simba is a fun boy looking for a home that will guide him in learning, having fun, and lots of adventures.
