Meka is a beautiful female Shepherd around 3 years of age who believes the camera will steal her soul. Meka came to us after being run over which resulted in fractures to her pelvis and hip. Meka is a sweet girl who didn't let her injuries or crate rest stop her from spreading love. Meka loves everyone she meets and wants to express her love in the form of hugs and kisses. Of course, jumping is not good for a recovering hip so we've learned to get on her level for the kisses. Meka soaks up any and all attention she can get with adoration and gratitude. When she can't get a person to pay attention to her she finds the nearest dog willing to play. She loves roughhousing and was not pleased with the terms of her crate rest. Meka has made fast friends with a beagle who is around 15 lbs and a mixed breed dog who is about 30 lbs. She does great with them and the larger Shepherd's in her foster home. Meka is also very well behaved in her crate and has been a wonderful sport during her recovery. Meka has not been tested with cats however we can do so upon request. Meka is ready to find her forever home and is hoping for one with adventure and lots of new friends. Meka will need a home willing to continue her socialization and training in a kind and patient manner as she is a soft and sweet girl.
