Jude is a stunning male Shepherd estimated around 4 years of age. Jude actually has a mysterious history as when he turned up in a Kentucky shelter he had a microchip that traced to a Miami, Florida shelter. Best anyone can tell he was adopted there, made it to Kentucky someone, abandoned, and here we stand today. The Kentucky shelter adopted him out once however he was returned for chasing, and eating, chickens. Jude is a fun boy who is clearly not cut out for farm life. He has energy to spare and simply adores people. In true Shepherd fashion he would like to be where ever you are and would follow his people to the end of the earth. Jude has been an absolute sweetheart and lover with everyone he has met thus far - volunteers, fosters, store clerks, etc. He likes being the life of the party even if the party is cuddling on the couch to watch shows on a rainy day. Jude is in a foster home with other Shepherds and hasn't had any issues with other dogs his size. He is a middle line personality - not dominant but not submissive either. He meets other dogs well though and does know how to navigate a play group. Jude has not been tested with small dogs or cats however given his history with chickens it is unlikely he would test well. Jude is searching for a home that appreciates his fun-loving nature and is able to give him the exercise and training that he needs.
