Tinkerbell is a beautiful female Shepherd estimated around 4 years of age. Tinkerbell was originally a stray in Louisville in 2017 when she first came to Tier Haven. She quickly found a home that had two young children however after a year they decided they were unable to provide time and care for Tinkerbell and returned her. Tinkerbell is a pretty shy girl at first and a bit unsure of her self. She lacks confidence and would rather hide behind someones legs. She warms up quickly but is clearly just unsure why her life has been turned upside down once again. Tinkerbell has been living with children for the last year who were around 1 year and 7 years of age. We are told that she did great with the children and would be great in a home with children. Tinkerbell isn't a social butterfly with new people though and will require some patience and love. It's important to remember that Shepherd's bond with their people therefore Tinkerbell is trying to figure out what is going on and where her people have gone - trust is definitely earned with these dogs. Tinkerbell does great with other dogs but again is not confident. If another dog is being pushy or inappropriate Tinkerbell would rather hide than challenge it. Definitely a submissive girl in that regard. She does follow social cues well though and will warm up to play with other dogs. Tinkerbell has not been cat tested however she can be tested upon request. Tink is just a sweet girl who is looking for a home that will return the love she has to give.
