Trixie is a beautiful young black Shepherd who is estimated around a year of age. Trixie was a stray in Eastern Kentucky therefore we do not know her background or history. Trixie values herself as a lover and a lap dog. She has been friendly with everyone she meets and has a social personality. She has plenty of energy but is *normally* well behaved when meeting new people. She has been introduced to a 6 year old and did wonderful being gentle with the kiddo. Trixie enjoys riding in laps in the car and generally being near people at all times. Trixie does not have any formal training and will certainly need this to ensure she continues to be a good canine citizen. Trixie arrived with another dog and has been friendly with all of the dogs she meets. She can be submissive at first but quickly starts playing and has learned to navigate play groups well. Trixie has a fun personality and enjoys roughhousing with the other dogs in her foster home. Trixie did wonderful during her cat offering kisses to the cat and then ignoring it when asked to do so. Trixie is a loving girl who is excited to find a family who will include her in all the best adventures - parks, hiking, and overall fun.
