Thunder is a stunning male Shepherd believed to be around 6 years of age with a golden personality to match his golden looks. Thunder was abandoned with a Rover pet sitter by owners who only had his vaccines done to get him into pet sitting. The pet sitter was unable to take on the responsibility of a Shepherd and after being unable to locate the owners surrendered Thunder to us for placement. Thunder has spent the last few months living in an apartment and does wonderful in the house. Thunder has met all of our volunteers with a friendly personality and done great going on walks and through stores. He has a fun, goofy personality overall. Thunder has been introduced to a 6 year old who he met with the same loving personality as everyone else. Thunder is currently living with other Shepherds and doing well. He met friendly during introductions and has slid right into his play group without any waves. Thunder is not considered cat friendly as he displays a high prey drive and fixation. We would not recommend him for a home with small dogs or cats due to this level of prey drive. Thunder is searching for a home that will give him he love and commitment that he deserves.
