LuLu is a beautiful female Shepherd around 10 years of age who is looking for a home of her own through her golden years. Lulu has known two long term homes in her life and unfortunately has been given up twice now due to marriage and divorce. Lulu is a stoic girl who values herself as a protector and doesn't have much time for the cuddly side of life. She enjoys being a constant companion and will shadow her people wherever they go but doesn't like to be in the spotlight or fussed over. Lulu can be unsure when meeting new people and prefers to hang back initially. Once Lulu bonds she is one of the most loyal companions one can ask for and is always eager to please. Lulu is a strong willed female and does best in the home that understands how to set boundaries otherwise Lulu is happy to run the household. Lulu has been around children 7 years old and up that understand how to respect her space and done well. We would not recommend her for a home with children under 7 years old. Lulu can be energetic and playful at times but is otherwise happy being a calm house dog who is always nearby. Lulu has always been around other dogs and has lived in multi-dog households her whole life. She has an uncanny love for small dogs though and much prefers them to larger dogs. Lulu is not the sort to play with the other dogs and will gladly school the young dogs on boundaries. She meets new dogs well and has a good understanding of social behavior though. Lulu is not friendly with cats. Lulu is searching for a home that will cherish her stoic and loyal self through her golden years.
