Lucky is a uniquely beautiful guy around 7 - 8 years of age. Despite his name Lucky has had a very unlucky life in regards to his homes. Lucky has found himself in the shelter/rescue system twice now due to marriage issues in his homes and no fault of his own. Lucky is still a friendly and hopeful guy though and knows his forever home is out there.

Lucky is a loving and sweet boy who is friendly with everyone he meets. Lucky can be aloof at times but generally enjoys making new friends and getting his butt scratched. Even on days when Lucky isn't feeling super social he is a well-mannered and kind boy. Lucky enjoys going on trips through pet stores and dazzling cashiers for treats. Lucky has lived with a toddler in the past but has not been around children under 6 years old regularly in many years. He would likely adjust back to life with younger children given appropriate boundaries and supervision needs were met. Lucky has some minor storm anxiety and prefers to be near his family or in his crate on stormy days. 

Lucky is great with other dogs and well versed in navigating a variety of dogs. Lucky has lived with everything from 10 lb Shepherd puppies to 90 lb rowdy young Shepherds to grumpy senior dogs - he adjusts to each of them with ease. Lucky will play with the younger dogs if they are very persisted but generally just keeps to himself in play groups. Lucky will appropriately reprimand the younger dogs if they get too pushy with him and he has been a great role model for many young pups. Lucky has lived with cats in the past without issues and should be able to adjust to life with cats again given good introductions.
