Brutus is a stoic old man approximately 10 years of age that was dropped off in Eastern Kentucky after becoming 'too old to be of service anymore'. Brutus is simply a talkative, grumpy yet sweet old man. Brutus does well with new people and lives with a 6 year old who adores him while also respecting his boundaries. Like most Brutus values his space and occasionally just wants to be left alone. Brutus does not appreciate being pushed on or having his space invaded all the time and will give appropriate warnings to people. Brutus is a sweet man overall who enjoys being near his people. Brutus is around other dogs, including small dogs, and a cat. Brutus can get grumpy with the other dogs and will often 'talk' at the other dogs when he doesn't approve of their actions. The cat makes a game of pestering Brutus and getting him talking but they settle down and will nap together. Brutus is searching for a home that will value him throughout his golden years for all of his old man traits. He moves a little slower and talks a little loader however he loves life and lives each day to the fullest.
