Bentley is a stunning male Shepherd who is around 6 years of age. Bentley was surrendered to the shelter by this lifelong owner because he had recently started "aggressing the fence and his crate door" therefore the neighbors and visitors were scared of him.
Bentley was very scared in the shelter so he was a little withdrawn however in his time of transitions in he been nothing but sweet. Bentley has not offered any aggression either in the crate or in the yard to people or other animals. He is not the type to push for attention but he has been very sweet and once he gets to know someone he is a big love. Bentley was great for vet staff and never made a peep during his vaccinations and heartworm testing.
Bentley seemed unsure about other dogs at first but has quickly made friends. He doesn't necessarily know how to play but they have an understanding worked out and everyone gets along. Bentley has not been introduced to cats or small dogs (under 35 lbs).
Bentley loves car rides, getting his butt scratched, and hanging out with people. He is a medium energy level boy who is in great health but not overly energetic. He is going to make a great companion to someone willing to give him a chance to warm up.
