Mary is a sweet 4 year old Shepherd who hasn't been given the best hand in life. Mary was kept as a backyard dog with an intact male and used for breeding. Unfortunately after her and her companion had an incident with a neighbors small dog Mary was seized by animal control. She gave birth to her last litter of puppies inside the shelter and is now ready to find a true home to call her own. Mary is wonderful with people and has a very sweet personality. Mary is wonderful with children and became fast friends with the 5 year old in her foster home. It is evident Mary has never really had a family so she doesn't quite understand all of those ins and outs but she is learning quickly. Mary is a more dominant female but she does get along well with other large dogs. Mary has too strong of a prey drive for any small dogs or cats however anything over 40 lbs is okay in her eyes. Mary isn't the most playful dog but she coexists peacefully with the other dogs. Mary is seeking a loving home to call her own.
