Johnny is a stunning boy who is around 2 years of age. Johnny was surrendered to Louisville Metro by his owner who claimed that Johnny randomly bit his arm while the owner was working on a vehicle. There are unfortunately a lot of details missing from the story and lots of questions unanswered. For example, Johnny has extensive damage to his teeth that is abnormal for a dog his age. Johnny has been nothing but sweet and friendly to everyone he has met both at the shelter and with Tier Haven. He has been on the timid side a few times but quickly warms up into a very loving and sweet boy. Johnny is a very large boy and doesn't necessarily seem to know any manners especially in regards to the leash. What he lacks in manners he makes up for in goofy personality and being a generally sweet soul. Johnny isn't really sure what to think about the other dogs but has had no problems interacting with various dogs on a daily basis. He does seem to have a more dominate demeanor, likely in part due to his size, but seems to avoid conflict. Johnny is going to require a home that will give him both patience and guidance to ensure his continued success.
