Aiden is a beautifully unique soul which matches his unique looks. Aiden is an unknown mix of breed which adds to his fun personality. He likely has ridgeback somewhere in his breed mixture as he does have a ridgeline – the ongoing joke is that he has his hackles up. Contrary to this joke Aiden is an extremely friendly dog with a heart of gold. Aiden gets along with everyone he meets and takes all things in stride. Aiden has wonderful social manners with other dogs and can navigate a play group well although he prefers people to other dogs. Aiden is also friendly and well-behaved around cats. He has had the pleasure of meeting multiple cats and living with two cats who are very active. Aiden has also met horses and maintained his wonderful manners although he did bark when they started running in the pasture. Aiden is also great when meeting new people – including kiddos. He is friendly and social without being demanding or overwhelming. He is a very quiet dog so he doesn’t tend to bark at the door or when new people come over. Overall, Aiden is an impeccably behaved boy in a variety of situations. Aiden has been waiting for the right home to come along and recognize the love he has to give a home. Aiden does take a few days to adjust to a new home in the house-training department. Since he is a very quiet dog who doesn’t like to “pester” people it is easy to miss his cues that he needs to go out therefore he does need an adopter who understands the need for an adjustment time and will provide a crate and structure for his adjustment.
