Tippy is a wonderful girl who found herself searching for a new home after 9 1/2 years with the same owner. Unfortunately Tippy lost her owner to cancer and had no where to go. Tippy has been very stressed by everything but still has a heart of gold shining through. Tippy was a well-loved dog in her old neighborhood known for taking walks and being a mascot for the Neighborhood Watch. Tippy has been a little timid meeting new people since coming to her foster home but this is understandable since she has been moved around and nothing is known to her anymore. Although reserved Tippy is still very sweet with people and will warm up quickly. Tippy was living with a small dog for the last five years or so however she is still pretty reserved with other dogs in her foster home during walks. She gets along well but isn't one to partake in any playing right now. We know from stories and pictures that Tippy was a pretty playful girl at one time so we are hopefully that in a loving home her personality will start to shine through once more. Tippy has been around cats according to the history we were provided and did very well with them. Tippy is confused and stressed which doesn't make for the best way to get to know a dog. We know though that this sweetheart will be the best companion any home can ask for if they give her the time to adjust that she needs.
