Nora is a pretty girl estimated around 3 years of age. As a stray in the Louisville Metro area Nora has an unknown background unfortunately.
Nora is the definition of sweet! Her foster describes her best as a "happy little critter" because Nora is just that - happy. She is up for whatever you are up for and will be ecstatic while doing it. From hiking to warming your toes while you work Nora promises to be right there with you. Nora has one bad habit of wanting to jump when she gets too excited but has quickly learned that sitting gets you attention quicker. Nora seems to really adore children and has done well with all of the kids she has met.
Nora has not had an issue with any of the other dogs. She hasn't been overly playful but greets everyone very well and coexists peacefully. Nora clams up a little with the rough and tumble crowd and can fade to the sidelines often. We think she will come out of her shell eventually but for now she is more focused on people. Nora was introduced to cats and had a very promising cat test. She was completely indifferent the first time but did show some friendly interest the second time. She nudged a little but didn't offer to nip or chase at all. With proper introductions and boundaries Nora could easily adjust to sharing the home with a cat.
In the end Nora is just a loving girl who is searching for a family to devote herself to that will show her the joys of being a beloved family pet.
