Tessa is a friendly young shepherd mix estimated around 2 years of age. Tessa was a stray and we unfortunately do not know anything about her history. Tessa does great with people and has a very outgoing personality. She is perhaps a bit too friendly given that she doesn't have many manners to structure her introduction to people. She is an energetic young girl so it can be a bit of a whirl wind first meeting Tessa but she does calm down eventually. Tessa hasn't had any issues with children or adults but being the wild child she is younger children are prone to getting knocked over. Tessa doesn't have a personality that would intentionally hurt a child but she isn't fully aware of herself either. She seems to really enjoy children, and all people. Tessa is doing really well with the other dogs. She has a middle-line personality between submissive and dominate. Although she doesn't start, or seek trouble, Tessa also doesn't back down. She hasn't made any friends with the other dominate females but is doing great with the other middle-line personalities who just want to play. Tessa does enjoy playing and can be a rough and tumble girl. She can also be pretty vocal and talkative when playing. Tessa is a fun young girl who would make a wonderful jogging companion or hiking partner. Tessa is definitely going to need guidance and training to help her develop into the wonderful family dog she can be.
