Coco is a very sweet girl estimated between a year and two of age. Coco was kept as an outdoor dog from a young age and allowed to wander in a rural part of Kentucky. This led to Coco being hit by a car on Easter Sunday. Her previous owners did not want to invest in veterinary care so they signed Coco over to the shelter and luckily the shelter contacted us. Coco did have a dislocated hip but thankfully it was able to be placed back in the joint and she has made a wonderful recovery. Coco is still rebuilding muscle strength in her hips but has made a full recovery.
Coco is a docile and loving girl. She does great with children and is friendly when meeting new people. She can be timid as it is evident she hasn't been exposed to many new things but with a little time she quickly warms up. Coco plays great with other dogs and has been around dogs as small as 25 pounds with no issues. Coco has learned to walk well on a leash and be clean in her crate however she will need continued basic training and socialization.
Coco is a cuddle-bug who is searching for a home to give her the life as a valued family member that she deserved from the start.
