Jazzy is a stunning solid black female estimated around a year of age. Jazzy was a stray in a very rural part of Kentucky. We do not know anything of her history so all of our information starts from the day she arrived in our care.
Jazzy is a loving and energetic young shepherd. She has plenty of energy to spare and can be a whirlwind meeting new people. She absolutely adores people and believes everyone is here to love her. She will cower if you raise your voice or pick up a stick/toy to through. She always recovers quickly though and is back to her fun, loving self. Jazzy does well with children but is also a lot of untrained energy. She goes in for the kiss unabashedly which can be overwhelming to some children.
Jazzy is also a blast to have in a play yard. She is a little awkward in the fact that she doesn't take warning too well so another dog can be telling her to "back off" but Jazzy says "play time"! She has taught a lot of the more serious dogs how to play which is fun to watch. She does well meeting new dogs but again she is a whirlwind of energy which can be overwhelming. Essentially she doesn't come with any concept of personal space or boundaries. She is very friendly though and avoids conflict at all costs. I wouldn't say she is overly submissive but she would rather move away than push back against a dog. She is a great runner though so she is good at avoiding conflict.
Jazzy is searching for an active home that will give her the exercise and training she needs to become a well-balanced family member. She would make an excellent jogging partner or dog park social butterfly.
