Rosie is a sweet young girl estimated between a year and two of age. Rosie was a stray in one of the many rural counties of Kentucky so unfortunately we don't know what her life has been like before coming to Tier Haven. Rosie is a very loving girl and loves people. She can be a little timid at first but warms up quickly and loves to cuddle. She does well meeting new people but has shown some protective tendencies. When a new person comes to her foster home she will bark but when corrected will calm down and greet them with a wagging tail. She has been around children and done really well. She is generally a sweet, loving dog. Rosie is currently fostered with one other dog and she does great. She is pretty playful and enjoys romping and running. She has been introduced to multiple dogs in passing and has done really well with them. She doesn't have any issues being introduced to new dogs. She is also fostered with an indoor/outdoor cat. She did have to be corrected for wanting to chase the cat in the yard during the first few days however they now coexist peacefully. Her foster thinks she would be fine in a home with cats. Rosie is a loving girl who is seeking a home to call her own. If you are looking for a friend who can accompany you on walks and cuddle on the couch afterwards she is the girl for you!
