Delilah is a super sweet young girl around 11 months of age. Delilah found herself at the humane society in October, 2015 after being hit by a car and her owners were unable to afford vet care. The humane society set out to treat her injuries and Delilah was able to fully heal over the course of a few months. Since Delilah had not been properly socialized and was timid around new people they opted to send her to a rescue. Delilah was pretty scared when she arrived at her new foster home but she warmed up quickly. She needs reassurance that she is safe but once you gain her trust she is a very loving girl. She has been around kids and does well. She will need continued work on socialization and meeting new people. Although timid Delilah is overall a friendly girl. Delilah does great with other dogs and is a playful young girl. She enjoys toys and romping in the yard. She isn't 100% sure how to play with the other dogs but it has been fun watching her figure it out. Delilah is fostered with other german shepherds therefore we do not know how she would do with small dogs. She also has not been tested with cats however can be tested upon request. Delilah is searching for a home that will give her the love and socialization she needs. She is a typical young shepherd and will need a home that can give her proper exercise and training.
