Raymond is a beautiful solid white German Shepherd male estimated around 3-4 years of age. Raymond found himself in need of a new home when he arrived at Louisville Metro Animal Services as a stray and due to testing heartworm positive was unable to travel to a white shepherd rescue. Raymond is a very sweet boy and is generally friendly with everyone he meets. Although he doesn't seem to have formal obedience he is a well mannered boy. Raymond gets along with other dogs but tends to be more dominate. Raymond is a very talkative boy and is often telling the people around all about it. Raymond has shown signs of food aggression and will need an experienced german shepherd owner to help him overcome this behavior. Raymond has begun the "Slow Kill" method of heartworm treatment paired with supportive care of Young Living ParaFree capsules. Raymond will need to continue receiving monthly treatment/preventative in his new home. Raymond is an energetic and otherwise healthy boy who is anxiously awaiting his new home.
