Sage is a beautiful young girl between 1.5 - 2 years of age. Sage found herself abandoned at Louisville Metro Animal Services after being picked up as a stray multiple times. Sage is a typical energetic young shepherd and is extremely friendly with people and other dogs. She doesn't seem to have much by the way of formal obedience but is a generally well mannered young girl. Sage has a lot of energy and enjoys playing with toys, other dogs, and people - anything she can do to burn some energy. She can be a bit nervous in new environments but with continued socialization she is steadily improving. Sage is a wonderful young girl with the potential to be an amazing family dog.
