Rebel is an absolutely sweetheart who is approximately 10 months old according to the owners who surrendered him. Rebel found himself at a high kill shelter after being purchased as a puppy but growing too large and being rambunctious with the grandchildren. Rebel is a very easy going young boy who seems to get along well with everyone – person and dog. He does take about 30 seconds to warm up to new people but given the many hands he has been through recently we don’t fault him this. Once Rebel warms up to you though he loves to give “hugs” and be glued to your side. He is currently around other shepherds and doing wonderful with all of them. He is not showing any dominance issues but is also not a pushover with the other dogs. He is learning how to play and has he figures it out is really having fun. Rebel was in a temp foster out of the shelter that said he appeared house-broke and well-mannered in their home. He is currently crated when unsupervised and does extremely well in his crate. Rebel is looking for a family that is willing to give him the guidance to grow into the wonderful dog he is meant to be.
