Lucky is a handsome boy around 4 years of age who is staying happy after his life took a bad turn. Lucky was a loved member of the family until his owner had to relocate to Germany (we do not know the nature of this move) and he was left in the care of his owners wife. Unfortunately when Lucky's owners separate his dad was still in Germany and his mom didn't want to care for him anymore. Lucky was picked up by animal control in Louisville a couple times before his mom just signed him. By this time Lucky had a hematoma in his ear and had obviously spent the summer outside. Regardless of his not-so-Lucky last few months Lucky is determined to meet everyone with a smile on his face and a kiss if they are willing. He is the most up-beat, excited, and friendly boy we have had the pleasure of rescuing. Lucky is still an active boy and enjoys getting out in the yard to roam around. He hasn't had a chance to make friends yet or be too playful with the other dogs but he gets along with them well. He has been around children and does great - extremely friendly. In general Lucky is just a happy boy who is looking for a home to remind him of the love he once had and deserves to have again.
