Eka is a beautiful 2 year old girl who is thought to be a husky X german shepherd. Eka is a very friendly little girl who unfortunately when left outside all day escaped from her owners yard frequently and they decided to surrender her to the shelter. Eka is very friendly with people - both adults and children alike - and seems to have some basic manners. Eka does well with the other dogs in her foster home which are all her size or larger. She loves to play with those that are more playful but isn't overly pushy. Eka is a good balance between submissive and dominate - she doesn't seem pushy but also doesn't get pushed around. Eka is an energetic girl and athletic so she will need a home willing to give her the exercise and stimulation that a young dog like her requires. Eka is a very smart girl and would do great in a home that wanted to do Agility or a similar dog sport. Overall, Eka is just searching for a home to show her the joy of being a part of the family and perhaps share some groceries.
