Torro is a stunning 8 year old german shepherd male who found himself at the Humane Society as a 5 year old when his owner no longer had time for his high energy. Torro has been waiting since 2015 for his own home and is looking forward to having a fun home for his golden years. Torro firmly believes in being a forever puppy. While he has mellowed moderately with age Torro is still a high energy dog and very talkative and vocal about all things in life. Torro loves people and will forever love anyone who will supply him with a toy. He does great with children although he isn't very mindful of the little ones so he would do best in a home with children over 5 years of age who are used to large dogs. Torro is friendly with new people and has an overall fun personality. Torro is also friendly with other dogs his size but is not an overly playful dog. He seems to prefer playing with toys and people rather than other dogs. Currently Torro has not been tested with small dogs or cats however given his toy drive he likely would not do well. Torro is searching for a home that appreciates his zeal for life and is able to help him balance being an aging dog with his activity level.
