Chuck is an adorable Lab Shepherd mix who is estimated around 3 years of age. Chuck was found running in a rural county and unfortunately no one claimed him. Because he was a stray we do not have any history on his life prior to arriving in our care however Chuck has been fostered with us for almost two years now so we do know him very well. Chuck is a total lover and a very rambunctious boy. He loves getting to meet new people and although he has had obedience training it often flies out the window in favor of a jump and kiss swipe. Chuck has been living with a young child who is now 5 years old and they are the best of friends. She is a very dog savvy kid and Chuck is a very kid savvy dog. Although Chuck is bad about jumping on people he is very good with kiddos - they are the perfect level for kissing! Chuck really enjoys any and all attention from people and has never met a stranger. He is a very rowdy boy but he also settles down into the perfect Netflix companion after the park. Chuck has lived with indoor/outdoor cats, small dogs, puppies, standoffish Shepherds, and even a pet pig for a bit. Needless to say everyone is his friend with perhaps some favoritism to the puppies who are super fun. Chuck is more into his toys than roughhousing but with the right companions he can be a hoot in a play group. Chuck has never had any problems playing well with the other dogs and he does great meeting new critters. Chuck is a fun boy who is down to do anything with the right motivation. He loves all sorts of toys and is also food motivated which is handy for training. He is a hyper boy who would make a great running/jogging/hiking companion and will require a home prepared to embrace his level energy.He will need continued training and someone who understands his energy level.
