Velvet is a very sweet girl heading into her golden years at an estimate 7 years old. Velvet was found as a stray in Daviess county with her coat in pretty poor condition. She is a beautiful solid black long haired german shepherd with a very sweet personality to match her looks. Don’t let her age fool you Velvet enjoys roughhousing and chasing around some of the younger dogs and still has plenty of spunk. Velvet is great with people and other dogs with a more laid back and calm personality when not being enticed to play by the young-uns. She is a very sweet and well-mannered girl who is searching for a family to give her the love she deserves during her golden years.
