Barkley is a male German Shepherd mix of approximately 3-5 years of age. He is a smaller guy in stature, but makes up for it in energy. He is friendly, outgoing, and eager to please. Barkley is the type of dog to fall into any home or family routine and get along wonderfully. He gets along great with other dogs, adores children, and is cat friendly. He loves people and likes to be right with everyone but isn't an overly demanding dog and will lay at your feet or play with a toy. Barkley was found as a stray in Garrard County and arrived with an old injury to his front leg. He will limp slightly sometimes but it does not bother him or hinder him in any way - he is still a very active and bouncy guy. He is a very sweet dog who would love to have a family of his own.
