Meet Charity! Charity is a wonderful girl with a heart of gold who has been with our group for over 3 years now and was in a shelter for close to a year prior to that. All in all Charity has never had a home to call her own but she hasn't let that get her down. Charity is estimated around 5 years of age however as a stray we do not know anything about her history prior to arrival at the shelter. Charity adores people of all ages and sizes. She can be a bit overwhelming when first meeting people but is extremely friendly. She does great with children and has been around the child of a volunteer from the time the little girl was 2 years old. Charity is a very loving and loyal dog with a happy-go-lucky attitude. She is constantly happy and up for any adventure she can share with a person. Charity is the highlight of any play group! She has a very fun personality that allows her to get even the least reluctant dogs romping and running with her. If she doesn't have anyone to play with she has no problem entertaining herself although she normally requires a bath afterwards. She is very playful towards other dogs and other critters in general. Charity has never lived with cats on a day to day basis however she has interacted with various cats throughout her time with us with good results. She doesn't show much interest in the cats in general but has made some honest efforts at getting them to play once or twice. Charity has been overlooked due to her unknown breed mixture, color, and now age but she is still holding out for the perfect home that will look passed that to the see the love she has to give.
