Sophie is a solid black german shepherd female who is estimated to be around 6 or 7 years old. Sophie has been with Tier Haven for nearly 3 years and would do wonderful with a family of her own. She was surrendered by her owner 3 years ago because the owner simply did not have time to take care of her (and the other dogs she was with) and they had been kept in a small outdoor pen in the years leading up to that. Sophie is still a very active girl and really enjoys being right with people and going on hikes and walks with her foster family. She adores children and is great with people overall. She gets along with dogs her own size but does have a tendency to be a more dominate female. Overall Sophie is a wonderful and beautiful girl who has been looking for a family to call her own.
