Luna is a beautiful Black Shepherd female believed to be around 3 years of age. Luna was originally a stray in a rural county shelter that adopted her to a local farm where we are told she was the best of companions but they unfortunately returned her due to moving. 

Luna loves people and has an extremely sweet disposition. She has been a love-bug to everyone she has met and is pretty sure she should be a lap dog. She is very people oriented and eager to please. Luna is the sort of Shepherd that is always at your heels and ready for any adventure. Luna has spent time around children over 6 years of age and simply adores them. She is very gentle with children and has the potential to be an amazing family companion. Luna was not used to riding in the car or crates when she arrived but is quickly conquering those fears. She still isn't sure about jumping up into vehicles but is a great passenger once she makes it inside.

Luna gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and is a middle of the line personality - she doesn't push boundaries but also doesn't let other dogs push her around. She hasn't really figured out playing but is starting to make friends with some of the dogs and explore the concept more. She does well navigating play groups and keeping to the fringes when it is more than she is comfortable with. Luna does well meeting new dogs and is generally a quiet, well mannered girl. Luna lived with farm cats to our knowledge but has not had an official cat test since her arrival with us. Her personality leads us to believe she would have great potential to live with cats and small dogs but we are also happy to test her upon request. 

Luna is a sweetheart of a dog that is looking for a family to return the love that she so eagerly gives the people in her life.
