Mister P is a beautiful young German Shepherd estimated around 1 - 1.5 years of age. Mister P was a stray in the Louisville area and we unfortunately do not know his history prior to arrival at the shelter.

Mister P is a sweetie with everyone he has met and has a friendly personality. He is still gaining confidence so he doesn't tend to be over the top with his energy and attention seeking but as he comes into himself is getting more playful. He acts like he simply hasn't been exposed to much in his life and takes a minute to get comfortable in new surroundings. He has a goofy personality hiding in there though and as he settles in he gets more outgoing and rambunctious. Mister P is still figuring out his role but seems to be a very people oriented dog. He is likely going to bond quickly to a new family and be a very loyal, dedicated companion. He has had limited interactions with children simply because he has not been with us very long. We do not know how he would do with children under 6 years of age but are open to a conversation based upon your home and experience. 

Mister P had no idea what to do with other dogs when he arrived and would run the other direction while barking if they came near him. Ironically, he seems to be more concerned with the other Shepherds but quickly made friends with a visiting boxer mix at his foster home. Mister P does not like pushy dogs and will appropriately set his boundaries if being pestered by another dog. Given time and space he is able to acclimate to new dogs and is learning to navigate play groups well. As he settles into a home he will likely become more confident and playful with other dogs. At this time he has not been tested with cats or dogs under 30 lbs.
