Fallon is a beautiful young German Shepherd around 1 year of age. Fallon was surrendered to the shelter with a group of dogs upon court order in March, 2020 and was pregnant at that time. Prior to that Fallon had been living outside with a pack of dogs and it has been lots of adjustment for Fallon in the last couple of months. She is now ready to search for a home to call her own.    Fallon is an outspoken and fun girl who is starting to explore her personality and world. Fallon can be timid around new people and lacks socialization but is able to warm up well with some patience and treats. Once Fallon is comfortable she shows herself to be a wicked smart and eager to please girl who loves routine. Fallon is an energetic and athletic girl who will require appropriate energy outlets. She does appreciate chill time though and is happy to hang out nearby while you garden, cook, or do whatever strange human things you do. Fallon is going to need lots of slow, structured socialization to help her learn more about meeting new people and navigating new situations. Fallon is around an 8 year old child and is figuring her out - Fallon does pretty great with her now but was weary at first. Her ability to adjust to a home with younger children will depend largely on the children and the home environment.    Fallon lives with other dogs ranging from senior Shepherds to young mixed breeds and everything in between. She does a great job navigating other dogs and is slowly starting to figure out how to engage in play. She is respectful of other dogs and is learning to appropriately set her own boundaries as well. Fallon has had limited interactions with cats and done okay but would need further cat testing before moving into a home with a cat.    Fallon is searching for a loving home that will give her the space to be the puppy she didn't get to be and the guidance to grow up into a well rounded family companion.
