Tauro is a handsome male German Shepherd around 5 years of age. Tauro found himself at the shelter after losing his owner and although he was a bit baffled at the transition he is looking forward to finding a new home. We do not have any details about Tauro's life prior to the shelter other than that he was on a farm and around other dogs.

Tauro has been a sweet, social, and friendly guy with everyone he has met. He is a big boy and has an even bigger personality that loves to make new friends to give him pets and play with him. Tauro loves to go on car rides and is generally up for any adventure as long as he can follow a trusted human. He wasn't sure about leashes at first but has learned to walk on leash and is a generally well mannered dude. Tauro is laid back for the most part but does enjoy a good romp session and will jump around and bark while playing. Tauro has had limited interactions with children since his arrival but has done well with the children he has met and seems to have the sort of friendly, and forgiving, personality that is suited to life with kids. 

Tauro is friendly with other dogs but is not the sort to play or romp with the other dogs. He is appropriate in asking for his own space from the other dogs and generally keeps to himself or hangs out with other laid back dogs. He isn't one for the puppy play group scene. Tauro has been appropriate and kind when meeting new dogs on leash but has not met any small dogs at this time. Tauro is NOT cat friendly.

Tauro is a laid back, go with the flow, loving sort of dog who is looking for a family that will include him in the fun and give him the love he so readily offers.
